Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours Plus Call
Schedule: Looking for locum coverage until a new provider(s) is hired for the facility

This assignment will be primarily working in the hospital or clinic depending on greatest need. Call schedule will be dependent on the staffing level of the hospital. Weekends are 24 hour call, mostly all phone calls. Providers are rarely called in to see patients.

· Skills required: Outpatient – Cardiology, Inpatient – Cardiology, ICU
· Tasks for this assignment may include:
o General Cardiology Hospital Rounds and Call Assignments Weekdays, General AM 7am-5pm, General PM 5pm -7am
o General Cardiology Ambulatory Clinic New Patients, Monday thru Friday 8am -5pm (clinic hours may vary based on need, providers will be scheduled for 8 hour shift)
o Echo call (Reading echo only) 7a-5p, 25 echo reads per day. Inpatient + echo reads, 12 echo reads per day
o Nuclear Cardiology Interpretations 24 Call assignment as the reader on call. (This is not required, but highly preferred to have a provider who is certified in reading Nuclear studies)
o Weekend 24 hour call coverage
Practice Setting:
• Inpatient/Outpatient

• At least 1 week/month
• Mix of inpatient and outpatient coverage
• Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance covered
