Non Invasive Cardiologist – New York

Start Date: ASAP

Assignment Length:
• Ongoing coverage
• Flexible scheduling with 1 to 2 weeks per month

Schedule:
• Monday through Sunday hospital coverage during your assigned week
• Approximately 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM daytime coverage
• 4 overnight call shifts per 7-day block
• One weekday overnight call plus Friday, Saturday, and Sunday overnight call

Top Highlights:
• Flexible schedule with only 1 to 2 weeks per month
• Ongoing assignment due to an open physician vacancy
• No STEMI call or interventional responsibilities
• Epic, MUSE, and GE Centricity EMR systems

Practice Details:
• Adult inpatient cardiology consult service
• Daily census of approximately 18 to 25 patients
• Join a team of 5 cardiologists with strong APP support
• Interpret echocardiograms, routine stress tests, EKGs, noninvasive vascular studies, and perform TEE
• No cath lab or interventional procedures required
• On-site laboratory and imaging services

Requirements:
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiovascular Disease
• Active New York medical license
• Comfortable practicing independently on an inpatient consult service
• Experience interpreting noninvasive cardiac studies and performing TEE
