Non-Invasive Cardiologist Locums – Upstate NY | 7 On / 7 Off | Inpatient Only

Job description

We are seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Non-Invasive Cardiologist for an ongoing locum tenens opportunity in Saratoga Springs, New York. This is an inpatient-only assignment with a predictable 7-on/7-off schedule and no interventional responsibilities.

Assignment Details:
Assignment: Ongoing
Schedule: 7 days on / 7 days off (or 1–2 weeks per month)
Hospital Coverage: Monday–Sunday during assigned week
Daytime Hours: Approximately 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM (subject to confirmation)

No STEMI call
No call rotation outside assigned coverage week

Practice Setting:
Inpatient Cardiology
Adult patient population only
Average daily census: 18–25 patients
Established team of 5 Cardiologists
No satellite locations
EMR: Epic, MUSE, and GE Centricity (CCW)

Clinical Responsibilities:
Inpatient cardiology consults
Daily hospital rounding
Management of acute cardiac conditions
Interpretation of: Echocardiograms, Routine stress tests, EKGs, Non-invasive vascular studies, Perform Transesophageal Echocardiography (TEE)
No interventional or cath lab responsibilities

Support Team: 2 Advanced Practice Providers on weekdays- 1 Advanced Practice Provider on weekends
On-site laboratory services, On-site X-ray

Requirements:
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiovascular Disease
Active New York license (or ability to obtain)
Comfortable practicing independently on an inpatient consult service
Experience interpreting non-invasive cardiac studies and performing TEE

Additional Information:
Ongoing coverage due to an open physician vacancy
Flexible scheduling with the option to work 1–2 weeks per month
Adult inpatient practice only
