Cardiologist Needed for Upstate New York | 2-3 weeks/month - M-F 8a-4p + Call | Competitive Pay

Type: General Cardiology, Physician
Board Certified in Cardiology
Board Certified to read Cardiac Imaging studies (to include Nuclear Stress tests - not a deal breaker if they can't read NUCs, this would be preferred by not required)
No Malpractice Claims

Preferred > 5 years experience
The provider will be working in a solo practice, there is currently an APP in that location but she will be leaving at the end of September

Shift:
o Monday - Friday: 8am-4pm
o 2-3 weeks/mo coverage
o 6 -9 months
o Starting ASAP (I anticipate mid Sept if we can find someone right away - due to the privileging and credentialing process)

Responsibilities (focus of the search should be for the first 2 bullets - the rest can be discussed with the provider when they talk to him/her):
o Outpatient clinic: approx 3 days per week (types of patients will be discussed during the interview)
o Supervising Stress Tests: approx 1 day per week
o Inpatient consults and stress lab
o On-Call: 4p - 8a (as needed to fill in holes)
o Read Nuclear portion of a stress test - (as needed to support the other providers who read NUCs - this is not a deal breaker if someone cannot read NUCs)
o Hospital Consult service rotation (this again will be ad hoc)
