Job description

Aya Healthcare is seeking a Board-Certified Cardiologist for ongoing night and weekend coverage in Greensboro, North Carolina. This long-term 52-week engagement offers a consultative inpatient practice focused on cardiac care, E&M services, and diagnostic interpretation in a hospital setting.

Adult patient population
Hospital-based setting
EPIC EMR
Credentialing timeframe: 60-90 days

Schedule:
Minimum 1 week per month and 1 weekend per month as needed
Shifts do not need to be consecutive
Monday-Thursday: 8:00 PM - 6:00 AM
Friday: 8:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Saturday: 5:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Sunday: 5:00 PM - 6:00 AM

Practice Details:
Provide consults upon request
E&M services only
No procedural responsibilities
Read echocardiograms and nuclear studies performed in the hospital
Care for admitted cardiology patients
Maintain a manual log of charges

Requirements:
Board Certified in Cardiology
Active North Carolina license
DEA required
Minimum 1-2 years of experience
