Overview:
Cardiology night/weekend second-call coverage in Greensboro, NC, for Cone Health Heartcare — locals only, consults and E&M only, no procedures.

Schedule & Coverage:
Specialty: Cardiology. Start Date: Dec 2026. Contract Length: 69 Weeks. Shift Details: Nights/Weekend — act as 2nd Call. Schedule: Minimum 1 week per month, and 1 weekend per month (as needed for scheduling). Does not need to be consecutive shifts. Monday–Thursday: 8:00 PM–6:00 AM (10 hours). Friday: 8:00 PM–7:00 AM (11 hours). Saturday: 5:00 PM–7:00 AM (14 hours). Sunday: 5:00 PM–6:00 AM (13 hours). Title: MD. On Call: No.

Work Details:
Amount of coverage needed per month: Minimum 1 week per month, and 1 weekend per month. Patient population/age: Adult. Department description: Cardiology. EMR: EPIC. Skills required: Consults upon request and E&M services only, no procedures. Read Echo and nuclear studies performed in the hospital. Provides care for patients admitted under Cone Health Heartcare. Required to keep a manual log of all charges. Practice Setting: Hospital.

Requirements:
Board Certification: Board Certification in Cardiology. License required: Yes, state of NC. DEA: Yes. Certifications required: ACLS & BLS. Minimum experience required: 1–2 years.

Credentialing:
60–90 days.
