CARDIOLOGY PHYSICIAN – INPATIENT LOCUMS | OH

Job description

SPECIALTY:
-Non-Invasive Cardiology
-Inpatient Hospital

SCHEDULE:
-Monday – Friday daytime hospital rounding
-Approximately 1 weeknight of call
-Weekend call coverage
-Day, night, and weekend coverage
-Call is required
-Patient volume varies based on hospital census; this is a very busy service

POSITION DETAILS:
-Inpatient-only cardiology
-Hospital rounding for General Cardiology
-New Cardiology consults
-Follow-up on in-house patients
-EKG reading as needed
-No procedures required
-EMR: Epic
-3–4 APPs provide inpatient support
-1 additional General Cardiologist on staff

REASON FOR COVERAGE:
-Loss of full-time staff
