Job description

Aya Locums is seeking a Board Certified Cardiologist for a locums opportunity in Washington, with an expected start in March/April 2026.

This role offers a balanced inpatient and outpatient practice with a predictable weekday schedule and light call.

Assignment Overview
Outpatient clinic + inpatient hospital support
Weekday schedule: 8-hour day shifts
Call rotation approximately 1:6
Adult patient population
Average volume: 14–16 patients per day
Required procedures include TEE and cardioversion
Epic EMR

Practice Environment
Solo cardiology coverage with hospital support
Rounding and admissions included
Hospital-based focus with clinic component

Requirements
Board Certified in Cardiology
Active Washington license and DEA required at time of submission
BLS and ACLS (AHA or ARC)
Recent cardiology case activity within the last 24 months
Credentialing timelines may be expedited for candidates with a clean file.
