Non-Invasive Cardiologist – Madison, WI

Start Date: November 1, 2026

Assignment Length:
• Ongoing through January 1, 2028

Schedule:
• 7 days on
• Monday 6:00 AM through the following Monday 7:00 AM
• Day coverage from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM
• Includes one weekday overnight call and one weekend overnight call per 7-day block

Top Highlights:
• Long-term assignment with coverage booked through January 2028
• Madison, Wisconsin location with licensing available for qualified providers
• Collaborative inpatient service with physician and APP support
• Epic EMR

Practice Details:
• Adult inpatient Non-Invasive Cardiology service
• Round with a team of 3 APPs
• Average inpatient census of 7 to 22 patients per day
• Interpret echocardiograms, EKGs, stress tests, and Holter/event monitors
• Manage chest pain, ACS, heart failure, hypertension, dyslipidemia, atrial fibrillation, valve disease, and other general cardiology conditions
• Support from intensivists, RNs, and cardiac imaging technicians

Requirements:
• Board Certified in Cardiology
• Fellowship in General Cardiology (Cardiac Imaging preferred)
• Active Wisconsin license or willing to obtain one
• BLS, ACLS, and DEA required
• Minimum of 2 years of experience
• Must be comfortable supervising APPs
• Credentialing timeframe: Approximately 90 days
