An outpatient facility is seeking an LCSW for locum tenens coverage.

As much as you've heard about New York City there are still constantly changing things to do. Everywhere you look, you can find little coffee shops to stop in or bars to have a drink at after work! Take some time at Central Park to take in the sites while on assignment. There are tours for everything in the city so be sure to research what you want to do before heading to the city that never sleeps.

About the clinician's workday

The schedule is 14-21 hours per week. The ideal candidate must have exceptional engagement skills with youth, knowledge of vicarious trauma, and trauma-informed intervention. They should possess a basic understanding of issues facing homeless youth and superior assessment and crisis intervention skills. The role involves initial engagement, risk assessment, goal setting, and ongoing individual sessions, as well as crisis counseling.
