Clinical Therapist (LCSW/LCSWA/LCMHC/LCMHCA) | Flexible Schedule + Growing Practice
Job description
HumanWorks Collective, LLC is seeking a compassionate and clinically strong part-time Clinical Therapist to join our growing behavioral health practice serving individuals and families in the Charlotte/Monroe, NC area.
HumanWorks Collective provides comprehensive behavioral health services, bringing together clinical treatment, peer and community-based supports, substance use services, and other behavioral health resources to address the needs of the whole person. Our approach allows clinicians to work as part of a broader continuum of care rather than providing therapy in isolation.
We are looking for an LCSW, LCSWA, LCMHC, or LCMHCA who values quality clinical care, strong documentation, collaboration, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact. This is a flexible part-time opportunity with the potential to grow as our client population and services continue to expand.
The Clinical Therapist will primarily provide outpatient behavioral health services and Comprehensive Clinical Assessments while collaborating with HWC's clinical and support team.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide individual outpatient therapy to assigned clients
Conduct Comprehensive Clinical Assessments (CCAs), based on licensure and scope of practice
Develop individualized treatment plans and clinical recommendations
Provide evidence-based, trauma-informed, and person-centered interventions
Complete progress notes and other required clinical documentation within established timeframes
Ensure documentation supports medical necessity and payer requirements
Assess client needs, progress, risk factors, and appropriate levels of care
Participate in treatment planning, care coordination, and clinical consultation as appropriate
Collaborate with other HWC providers and programs to support continuity of care
Maintain compliance with NC Medicaid, MCO, licensing board, HIPAA, and agency requirements
Maintain appropriate professional boundaries and standards of clinical practice
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related behavioral health field
Current North Carolina licensure as an LCSW, LCSWA, LCMHC, or LCMHCA
Eligible to participate with NC Medicaid and applicable managed care organizations
Active NPI and ability to maintain an accurate CAQH profile
Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a multidisciplinary team
Experience with Medicaid populations and community behavioral health preferred
Experience completing CCAs is a plus
Schedule:
Part-time with a flexible schedule, up to approximately 25 hours per week, based on availability, client needs, and caseload. The position can be Telehealth or Hybrid.
