# Dermatologist – Full-Time Permanent Opportunity

## ⚡ THE HIGHLIGHTS

* **Practice Focus:** 90% Medical Dermatology | 10% Cosmetic Dermatology
* **Procedures:** Approximately 80% of visits involve procedures
* **Patient Volume:** Approximately 4–5 patients per hour
* **EMR:** Epic
* **Trauma Level:** Level II
* **Board Status:** Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible
* **Visa:** H-1B candidates may be considered; J-1 candidates are not accepted
* **Employment:** W-2; 1099 and Locum candidates not accepted

A well-established healthcare organization is seeking a **Board-Certified or Truly Board-Eligible Dermatologist** to join a dynamic and collaborative outpatient dermatology practice.

The practice is reopening its dermatology services and offers an excellent opportunity for a physician interested in building a patient-focused practice with a strong procedural component and potential for growth in cosmetic dermatology.

## 📅 SCHEDULE

* Monday–Friday
* Flexible scheduling
* Minimum **36 hours of direct patient contact per week**
* Approximately **4 hours of administrative time per week**
* Strong emphasis on work-life balance
* No long-distance commuting or concurrent employment arrangements permitted

## 🧴 PRACTICE FOCUS

The dermatology practice is approximately:

* **90% Medical Dermatology**
* **10% Cosmetic Dermatology**

There is an opportunity to expand the cosmetic dermatology component for physicians with an interest in growing that service line.

## 🔬 PROCEDURE VOLUME

This is a high-procedure-volume practice.

* Approximately **80% of patient visits involve procedures**
* Typical procedures range from skin tag removals to skin cancer biopsies
* Physicians typically see **4–5 patients per hour**
* Approximately **3–4 patients per hour may require a procedure**

## ✅ QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

* **Board Certified in Dermatology OR Truly Board Eligible – Required**
* Truly Board Eligible candidates must be within **1 year of graduation** and must obtain board certification within **3 years of graduation**
* Active Michigan medical license or willingness to obtain
* BLS certification or willingness to obtain
* DEA registration required prior to start
* CSR/CDS required prior to start
* Clean malpractice and medical license history required
