Locations: Del Rio, Victoria, Floresville, Live Oak, and San Antonio, Texas

Emergency Medicine APP Opportunity
Start Date: 09/14/2026
Assignment Length: 3 Months – 1 Year

Facility is seeking Emergency Medicine APPs due to continued growth.

Requirements

* Emergency Medicine fellowship training preferred
* ED experience required
* IMLC accepted; facility will only license providers with an active IMLC
* No emergency privileges available

Credentialing

* Estimated credentialing timeframe: 90 days

Travel

* Flight, hotel, and rental car provided

Facility Details

* Annual ED Volume: Approximately 35,000 visits
* Average Daily Volume: 95 patients/day
* ED Beds:

* 14 ED rooms
* 1 trauma bay
* 12 vertical care areas
* 6 hallway beds
* Trauma designation pending credentialing in May 2026
* EMR: Meditech Expanse
* Patient Satisfaction: Press Ganey

ED Operations

* Admission Rate: 17%
* Average Patients Per Hour: 1.6

APP Schedule

Monday – Wednesday

* 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
* 11:00 AM – 9:00 PM
* 3:00 PM – 1:00 AM
* 5:00 PM – 3:00 AM

Thursday – Sunday

* 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
* 12:00 PM – 10:00 PM
* 4:00 PM – 2:00 AM

Additional Information

Construction has been approved for Q3 2026 to expand the department with:

* 8 additional ED rooms
* 1 additional trauma bay
* Fast-track remodel
