Aya locums is seeking Emergency Medicine Physicians Assistants for ongoing coverage needs with the option for locums, locums-to-perm, or permanent placement.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy, expanding department with strong future growth plans already underway.

Opportunity Details
-Contract Length: 3 months to 1 year
-Credentialing Timeline: Approximately 90 days
-IMLC Accepted: Yes — active IMLC required for licensing
-EMR: Meditech Expanse
-Can discuss travel options
-Multiple locations in Texas

Emergency Department Overview
-Annual Volume: Approximately 35,000 visits (95 patients/day)
-ED Layout: 14 treatment rooms, 1 trauma bay, 12 vertical care areas, 6 hallway beds
-Admission Rate: 17%
-Average Physician Productivity: 1.6 patients per hour

Monday–Wednesday:
-8a–6p
-11a–9p
-3p–1a
-5p–3a
Thursday–Sunday:
-9a–7p
-12p–10p
-4p–2a

Candidate Requirements
-BC in Emergency Medicine preferred
-Emergency Department experience required
-APP candidates with EM Fellowship training preferred
