Location: This Virginia town is the home of the Appalachian College of Pharmacy, and the Appalachian School of Law. The community is somewhat rural; a quiet, safe place to live and rear children. We have excellent public and private schools, as well as many colleges and universities nearby, including Virginia Tech, University of Kentucky, East Tennessee State University, and the University of Tennessee. The town of Grundy is currently undergoing a multi-million dollar transformation by the Army Corps of Engineers and the Virginia Department of Transportation. Facility: Since its establishment in Grundy, Virginia, in 1979, this hospital has provided high-quality medical care to the people of Buchanan County and the surrounding counties in Virginia, Kentucky and West Virginia. Opportunity: Emergency Medicine Physician *ASAP- Ongoing *8am-8pm *Looking for a minimum of 14 shifts/month (7 on/7 off) *Board Certified/ Board Eligible -REQUIRED *Must have minimum 2 years experience in EM - REQUIRED *VA License - REQUIRED *COVID Vaccination- REQUIRED *BLS/ACLS - Current at time of submission *If not EM board certified - will need ACLS, ATLS, BLS and PALS *Clean background, no malpractice - REQUIRED, no exceptions Compensation: $275/hour with weekly pay plus malpractice
