Emergency Medicine Physician Needed in Caribou, ME

Job description

• # of patients: 16,000 visits per year
• Hospital bed size: 65
• Name clear process: Name clear first.
• Credentialing: 30-45 days
• Travel: Will cover travel and lodging
• 24 hour ED with approximately 16,000 visits per year
• Level 2 Trauma Center
• One trauma room and 11 exam rooms
• Major trauma, cardiac, neurosurgery and other critical cases are transported to a tertiary care center
• They can accommodate someone who wants to stay over the course of the 2 months or they can consider someone who comes for blocks of shifts
• They would like Thanksgiving week covered for sure if possible- night shift preferred
• Mostly night shifts but potentially days as well
***Will consider IM/FP boards and recent ER experience.
