Minnesota Emergency Medicine Need

Job description

• Need MD/DO for ER coverage needs for 12 or 24 hours shifts
• Annual ER volume 7,500
• Volume breakdown: 625 ER visits monthly (10% emergent, 47% Urgent, 35% less Urgent, 8% non-urgent)
• EMR is EPIC
• Facility is Level 4 trauma
• Must have MN License and DEA
• Board Certified or Board Eligible (ABMS- FM, IM, EM)
• Life Certifications needed: ACLS, ATLS or CALS w/ trauma module (waive for ABEM and can demonstrate having at one time)
• COVID-19 vaccination required
• Stroke certifications required
• Typical timeline for credentialing is 90 days
• Travel is included: air, rental car or mileage if driving. The facility has call rooms, so hotels are not included.
