Emergency Medicine Locum Need in Missouri

Start Date: late May (as soon as credentialed)
Contract Length: about 3 months (end in mid-August)
Shift Details: 10hr shifts, nights, vary between the following hours: 9p-7a and 6 pm-4a and 3 pm- 1 am
Schedule: Seeking about 3-4 shifts per week.

Work Details:
• Support staff: they do have APPs (Pas and NPs), RNs and techs. The hospitalist program does the admits, and all other specialties in-house. Level III Trauma Center
• Patients per evening: 42k annual volume
• Patient population/age: all ages
• Department Description: 26 beds in the ER, 3 trauma bays, a special procedure room, and 2 triages. APPs run the triages.
• EMR: Epic
• Hospital bed size: 306
• Special procedures:
• Skills required: standard ED skill set.
Practice Setting:
• Hospital

Requirements:
• Board Certification: ABEM
• State license required: MO license, IMLC may consider someone without.
• DEA: yes
• CSR: yes
• Certifications required: ACLS BCLS PALS ATLS
• Minimum experience required: 1 year.
Credentialing Timeframe: 90 days, but temp privileges offered with clean background

• Active MO license or IMLC
