Job description

We are seeking a skilled Emergency Medicine Physician to join our team in North Dakota. This position offers a flexible schedule and a laid back work environment seeing 8-15 patients per shift.

Key Details:
Start Date: As soon as credentialed
Contract Length: 3 months, with potential for ongoing work
Shift Details:
Flexible 12-hour shifts: 7 AM - 7 PM or 7 PM - 7 AM
12 shifts per month (block scheduling), with dates varying based on need and availability

Work Environment:
Patients per Day: 8-15 patients
EMR System: Meditech
Facility Size: 25-bed hospital with 4 ICU beds
Support: Strong administrative team and APPs on-site during peak hours
Annual Volume: Approximately 14,000 patients

Practice Setting:
Type: Hospital-based

Travel Logistics:
Coverage: Travel and lodging expenses will be covered

Requirements:
Board Certification: Must be board certified
License: Active North Dakota license required
Certifications: Must have ATLS and ACLS certifications through the AHA (required by the state, even for ABEM-certified physicians)
