ER Physician needed in Jasper, TX!
• 1 hour north of Beaumont
• 4-6 month assignment
• November start
• 2 FT docs. About 20 shifts/month
• Must be willing to work at least 5 shifts per month
• ABEM or AOBEM
• Must have completed EM residency
• ATLS, ACLS, PALS required (180 days grace period to comply)
• 24 hrs/day for MDs,
• STAFFING MODEL NPPA - 12 hrs/day
• PHYSICIAN SHIFT TIMES 6a – 6p & 6p – 6a
• NPPA SHIFT TIMES 10a – 10p
• ANNUAL VOLUME About 21,000
• PATIENTS PER DAY About 58/day
• % EMS - 8%
• % ADMITTED PATIENTS - 3%
• TRAUMA LEVEL DESIGNATION - IV
• No Scribes
• ED BEDS & FAST TRACK BEDS
• 16 ED beds
• ICU BEDS
• New 12,000 sq ft facility with 16 private rooms, include a Fast Track, acute exam, cardiac room and decontamination shower room. Offers the latest technology in adult, pediatric, geriatric, emergency, medical, surgical and obstetrical care
• EMR SYSTEM - Meditech
• Must have active TX license
• Travel and lodging available
