Job description

Opening new location starting in December, we are seeking 5 FTEs until fully recruited.
Estimates ED Volume: 10,000 - 12,000
EMR Charting: MediTech
Sub Specialty Backup: Transfer to Kingwood
ICU - N/A
Scribes: None currently - may be hiring
Must have an active TX license at the time of name clear
Temps are available with a clean background, no previous claims or malpractice
Specialty Required - EM, IM & FM
Board Certified Required
Board Certified in Emergency Medicine, Family Practice or Internal Medicine by the American Board or the American Osteopathic Board. (If Internal/Family Medicine, must show proof of 5000 ER or Urgent Care hours over the past 24 months with clinical coverage including pediatric exposure) .
Minimal formal training: Applicants must have successfully completed an ACGME or AOA-accredited residency program in emergency medicine, family practice or internal medicine.
References: A letter of reference must come from the director of the applicant’s training program. Alternatively, a letter of reference regarding competence should come from the department chief of the institution where the applicant most recently practiced.
ACLS and PALS are required if not board certified in Emergency Medicine.
ATLS: ABEM must have had a some point in time, if not boarded in EM or board eligible in EM, they must have a current ATLS
