Job description

Physician Needed, but facility will take an AP for night shifts.
Board Certified, Board Eligible, or Previously Boarded in Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine
Must have ATLS, ACLS, and BLS
Must have active DEA
Night shifts can be a APN or Physician
Averages 1-3 patient per hour
25 bed facility
Level IV Trauma Center
Requires: ACLS, ATLS & PALS.
Trauma CME Hours: 9 hrs required a year (proof of these will be required for privileging for physicians only)
Staff Physicians: 3 FP, 1 GS, 2 OB, 2 PD
Patient Volume: 901 per month -5%Pedi, 20%Geri, 50%Trauma
Lab & X-ray available 24 hours
Referral Centers: Eagle Pass, Laredo, San Antonio, Uvalde, wherever patient requests to be transferred
Electronic T-System charting system
Short term acute care facility
Travel and lodging arranged by client
Meals provided
