PA GI Lab needed in CA!

Job description

-Physician Assistant
-Specialty: Gastroenterolgy (GI Lab)
-Special procedures/details: PA will be performing consults, assessing, and working up patients for GI Procedure. Will not be assisting in procedures.
-Work experience required: 1 year with GI lab experience preferred
-Number of positions available: 3
-Preferred start date: ASAP
-Contract length: 13 Weeks with possibility to extend
-Coverage type: Scheduled 0700 - 1530
-Number of shifts & hour: 0700 -1530
-Schedule details: Will be required to rotate weekends and holiday
-Willing to License: No
-Job Specific Details:
• Coverage Type: Consult based position
• Schedule Details: Mon-Fri 7a-330pm, rotate weekends and holidays 7-330pm
-Work Details:
• Facility Type: Hospital

• EMR/Charting Software: EPIC
• Vaccines Mandatory: PPD current, Hep B, Influenzas
• Avg. Daily Census: 25 consult per day
• Beds: 10 bed GI Lab
• Patient Age Group: Peds and Adult
• Procedures: NO
• Equipment: NO
-Requirements:
• State License(s): CA
• Board Certified: Required
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS and PALS , NCCPA
• DEA Req’d: Yes
• Years of Experience Req’d: at least 1 year with GI Lab preferred
-Credentialing Timeframe: 30 days
-Willing To License: No
