The facility operates with a support team that includes 1 MD, 2 medical assistants, 4 nurses, and 4 scrub technicians to ensure continuity of specialized care. Locum tenens gastroenterology physician associate coverage is sought beginning as soon as possible on a full-time, ongoing basis.

About the clinician's workday

The gastroenterology physician associate will provide clinic-based GI coverage on a day shift schedule, Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, at this on-site facility in NM. Clinical responsibilities include managing an average of 18-20 adult patients per day in accordance with established facility protocols. No call coverage is required for this locum tenens assignment. Board certification in Gastroenterology is required for consideration.
