The position requires board certification in Gastroenterology, with a preference for candidates holding an Indiana license or those eligible through the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC). The role involves inpatient-only coverage with a Monday to Friday schedule from 8 AM to 5 PM, along with night and weekend call responsibilities, starting from 8 AM on Monday and ending at 8 AM the following Monday. The focus is on general GI cases, with no advanced procedures, and there is 24/7 anesthesia support available.
