Facility:
This is a well-established healthcare facility featuring a highly accomplished Endoscopy Unit team with 4 procedure rooms and Endo Suites. The facility is equipped with Olympus technology, hydrogen breath testing, capsule endoscopy capabilities, and utilizes Paragon and EndoPro EMR systems, providing a comprehensive and modern clinical environment for gastroenterology providers.

Opportunity:
Physician (MD) - Internal Medicine - Gastroenterology

Job Details:

• Active Michigan medical license required
• Board certified in Gastroenterology required
• ABLS, ACLS, ATLS, and BLS certifications required
• Credentialing timeframe approximately 60 days with immediate turnaround required on credentialing application and billing enrollment packet
• Coverage dates required: 3/28-4/5, 7/26-8/1, 8/28-9/1, 9/27-10/1, and 11/24-11/27; full block availability required for all dates, no partial coverage considered
• Monday through Friday schedule consists of 9-hour shifts with a 1-hour lunch (8 hours billable) plus a 15-hour overnight call shift
• Weekend call coverage is 24 hours
• All overtime and callback hours must be logged on the timesheet prior to submission
• Up to 12 patient encounters per shift for procedures with fewer inpatient encounters
• No scribe provided; provider is responsible for all charting and work completion independently
• Provider must review all pathology results and communicate with nursing staff regarding patient letters, results, and follow-up recommendations
• Required procedures include: EGD, colonoscopy, pH studies, manometry, sigmoidoscopy, and PEG/PEG-J tube placement
• Propofol administration experience required
