Gastroenterologist needed - June-August dates - NY state!

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Gastroenterologist to provide comprehensive coverage, including clinic, procedures, and 24-hour call responsibilities. This is an excellent opportunity for a provider comfortable managing both inpatient and outpatient GI cases in a structured, weekday-focused schedule.

Schedule & Coverage Details:

24-Hour Call Coverage required during assignment weeks
Office Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Procedure Hours: 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM
Workdays: Monday – Friday
Office and procedure days will vary based on scheduling needs and provider availability

Assignment Dates (7-day blocks, 24h call coverage):

June 29 (7:00 AM) – July 6 (7:00 AM)
July 6 (7:00 AM) – July 13 (7:00 AM)
July 13 (7:00 AM) – July 20 (7:00 AM)
July 20 (7:00 AM) – July 27 (7:00 AM)
July 27 (7:00 AM) – August 3 (7:00 AM)
August 3 (7:00 AM) – August 10 (7:00 AM)
August 10 (7:00 AM) – August 17 (7:00 AM)
August 17 (7:00 AM) – August 24 (7:00 AM)
August 24 (7:00 AM) – August 31 (7:00 AM)

Responsibilities:

Provide inpatient consults and manage GI-related admissions
Perform endoscopic procedures (e.g., colonoscopy, EGD)
Conduct outpatient clinic visits
Participate in 24-hour call coverage for GI cases
Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams

Qualifications:

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
Active New York medical license (or ability to obtain)
Experience with standard GI procedures
Strong clinical and communication skills
