Gastroenterology opportunity in Ohio
Job description
General Gastroenterologist to join a growing, well-established team serving patients throughout the Greater Cincinnati community. This is an excellent opportunity for both experienced gastroenterologists and physicians completing fellowship, with a strong mix of procedural and outpatient medicine.
Position Highlights- Specialty: General Gastroenterology
- ERCP/EUS: Not required
- Clinical Schedule: 36 clinical hours per week
- 24 hours dedicated to endoscopy/procedures
- 12 hours dedicated to office/clinic
- Call: Approximately 1:8
- Practice Size: 18 physicians and 8 APPs
- Start Date: Ideally within 3–6 months, but longer timelines can be accommodated
- Experience: Open to physicians at all experience levels, including new fellowship graduates
- Patient Population: Broad adult gastroenterology
- Coverage: Physicians support various hospitals, clinics, and endoscopy centers based on system needs; specific locations will be discussed individually during the interview process.
- Estimated Compensation: $Sign up or sign in for contact information;$1,000,000+
- Compensation is based in part on wRVU production, providing significant earning potential for high-producing physicians.
- Signing Bonus: $75,000
- Start Bonus: $75,000

Multi-hospital health system is actively growing toward a total need of approximately 22 physicians. The current opening is primarily driven by practice growth, with additional anticipated opportunities as physicians retire over the next several years.
Joining this team provides the opportunity to become part of a large, established gastroenterology practice with strong physician and APP support, a substantial procedural component, and the resources of a major integrated health system.
Candidate Requirements- MD or DO
- Completion of an accredited Gastroenterology fellowship
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
- Eligible for medical licensure in Ohio
- ERCP and EUS skills not required
- New graduates and experienced physicians welcome
- H-1B candidates may be considered on a case-by-case basis
- J-1 candidates are not eligible
