MD/DO - Gastroenterology - SPRINGFIELD, OR - Locum

Job description

TinkBird Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Gastroenterologist for a Locum position in Springfield, Oregon to start as soon as credentialing allows.

Schedule:
7a Monday - 7a Saturday coverage; not required to be in facility overnight but will be on call. 
Expected 5 on / 9 off rotation. 
12 hour shifts with night call; will not cover 7a Sat - 7a Mon
5 days per week with weekends off

JOB INFORMATION:
Vaccination Requirement: Required. will not accept exemptions
Reason for coverage: Piloting GI Hospitalist program at SHMC-RB
Dates of Coverage: August/September as credentialing allows.
6-12 months with potential to extend.
Looking for 1 FTE

Practice Description:
Setting: Hospital only, Adult Inpatient
Daily Responsibilities: Rounding, new consults and procedures
Shifts/Schedule Expectations:  Mondays @ 0700 thru Saturdays @ 0700. 12 hours w/overnight call

Call Schedule/Responsibilities:  Overnight call required during scheduled work weeks
PPD/Census:  ~10
Provider will be the only inpatient GI physician but will have access to specialty consultants, as needed & will have ability to connect w/outpatient GI colleagues for workflow questions, etc.
Procedures Required/Preferred:
Rounding, new consults and procedures
EMR: EPIC, Proficient User.

Certifications required:
ERCP  required
ACLS
Board Certified GI
Credentialing Time frame - 60+ days
Will a licensing candidate be considered; IMLC providers: Licensed, IMLC in hand
