Gastroenterology Physician – ERCP Locum Opportunity

Job description

A Tennessee healthcare system is seeking a Board-Certified Gastroenterologist with strong ERCP experience for ongoing locum coverage across two hospital locations.

Coverage Details
Schedule: Monday 7:00 AM EST – Monday 7:00 AM EST (1-2 weeks a month)
24-hour call coverage required throughout assignment
One physician working alongside an APP
Provider onsite approximately 8–10 hours daily
Monday–Friday procedural coverage with weekend call responsibilities
Night call primarily consists of beeper/phone consult coverage

Clinical Responsibilities
General GI procedures
ERCP procedures required
May assist with inpatient rounding as needed
Flexibility available around EUS scheduling/procedures
Blocked endoscopy suite time available

Procedure Volume
Approximately 5–6 procedures daily during 24-hour call coverage
Estimated 7–8 procedures per day overall

Requirements
Board Certified Gastroenterology required
ERCP experience required
Tennessee license or IMLC required prior to confirmation

• Ongoing 1-2 weeks a month
• IMLC accepted
• General GI and ERCP Cases
