Long Term (2 year) Gastroenterology Locum Physician – ERCP

Job description

A Tennessee healthcare system is seeking a Board-Certified Gastroenterologist with ERCP experience for long term locum coverage across two hospital locations.

Coverage Details
Schedule: Monday 7:00 AM EST – Monday 7:00 AM EST
24-hour call required throughout assignment
One physician paired 1:1 with an APP
Onsite coverage approximately 8–10 hours daily
Monday–Friday procedural schedule with weekend call coverage
Night call primarily consists of beeper coverage and phone consults
Rare onsite callback after hours

Clinical Responsibilities
General GI procedures
ERCP procedures required
Possible inpatient rounding support
Flexibility with EUS scheduling/procedures available
Blocked endoscopy suite time available

Procedure Volume
Average 5–6 procedures daily during 24-hour call coverage
Estimated 7–8 procedures per day overall

Requirements
Board Certified Gastroenterology required
ERCP experience required
Tennessee license or IMLC required prior to confirmation
