New Locums Opportunity in Texas - Gastroenterology - Willing to License!

Job description

Aya Locums is seeking a Board-Certified Gastroenterologist for a locum opportunity who is available to start ASAP.

Position Details:
-Start Date: ASAP
-Contract Length: 3–6 months with the option to extend
-Schedule: Clinic 3–4 weekdays per week, 8-hour shifts
-Flexible scheduling available
-Evening and overnight call after clinic shifts
-Non-restricted call with a required response time of within 30 minutes of the facility

Practice Details:
-Clinic support includes front office staff and a Medical Assistant
-Perform approximately 10–15 procedures per day
-Required procedures include: ERCP, EGD, Colonoscopy, Flexible Sigmoidoscopy, Full scope GI procedures excluding EUS
-EMR: Athena One (clinic) and Meditech Expanse (hospital)

Requirements:
-Board Certification required
-Active Texas license or IMLC eligibility required
-ACLS certification required
-Minimum of 1 year of experience

Credentialing:
-Clean files may receive temporary privileges within 2 weeks
-Standard credentialing timeframe is approximately 90 days
