GI Hospitalist opening in Charleston, WV

Top Highlights:
- Flexible Block Schedule: 7-on/7-off OR 2 consecutive weeks per month
- Long-Term Opportunity: 6-month assignment beginning January 4, 2027
- Excellent Support: 9 APPs plus experienced RNs, LPNs, and MAs
Opportunity Details:
- Start Date: January 4, 2027
- Contract Length: 6 months
- 7-on/7-off schedule or 2 consecutive weeks per month
- Typically 8-hour daytime shifts with nighttime call coverage
- Team works to hold non-urgent nighttime needs until the following morning whenever possible
- General GI Hospitalist coverage
- Adult patient population with an average age of approximately 58
- 9 APPs and extensive nursing/clinical support
- 2 APPs trained in Advanced GI who provide preliminary evaluations
- Cerner EMR
- Hospital-based setting
Requirements:
- Board Certification required
- West Virginia license required, but IMLC candidates and physicians who qualify for a WV temporary license will be considered
- DEA required
- BLS and ACLS required
- Client is willing to license
- Credentialing timeframe: Approximately 60+ days
