Opportunity:
Advanced Practitioners - Hospitalist/Emergency
Job Details:
- Open to Physician Assistants or Nurse Practitioners with 1+ year of Advanced Practice experience in a hospitalist or similar setting
- Inpatient medicine, hospitalist setting located at 71 Haynes Street, Manchester, CT 06040
- Full-time days schedule with premium differentials and incentives offered
- No call requirements
- Perform routine physical examinations and formulate medical, educational, and psychosocial plans to treat patients
- Develop plans for further evaluation of health needs including referrals to other health team members or specialists
- Provide appropriate treatment for problems within the scope of practice and refer appropriately to physician when needed
- Practice in a smaller community-focused setting with wide clinical scope, autonomy, and room for professional growth
- Work within a close-knit, collaborative Advanced Practice group focused on delivering high-quality inpatient care
- Unrestricted State of Connecticut Medical License required (or eligible)
- Certified or board-eligible Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner (Acute Care-certified) required
- Dedicated support through an Office of Advanced Practice directed by system-level Advanced Practice leadership
