Advanced Practitioners - Hospitalist/Emergency
Job Details:
- Seeking a Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join a close-knit, collaborative inpatient medicine team
- Full-time, swing shift position (afternoon into evening) with premium differentials and incentives offered
- No call required
- Perform routine physical examinations and formulate medical, educational, and psychosocial plans to treat patients
- Develop plans for further evaluation of health needs in consultation with physicians and care team members, including referrals to specialists as appropriate
- Provide appropriate treatment for problems within scope of practice and identify when referral to physician is necessary
- Practice in a smaller community-focused setting with wide clinical scope, autonomy, and room for professional growth
- Dedicated support and voice for Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants through the Office of Advanced Practice
- Unrestricted State of Connecticut Medical License required (or eligible)
- Certified or board-eligible Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner (Acute Care-certified) required
- Minimum 1+ year of Advanced Practice experience in a hospitalist or similar setting required
