Advanced Practitioners - Hospitalist/Emergency

Job Details:

• Per diem Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner position joining an energetic and growing hospitalist team
• Provide full-spectrum inpatient care including triaging, admitting, rounding, discharging, and addressing changes in clinical status
• Setting: Inpatient medicine, hospitalist at Manchester Memorial Hospital and/or Rockville General Hospital
• Perform routine physical examinations and formulate medical, educational, and psychosocial plans to treat patients
• Develop plans for further evaluation of health needs in consultation with physicians and care team members, including referrals to specialists
• Provide appropriate treatment for problems within scope of practice and refer appropriately when needed
• No call schedule required
• Comprehensive orientation program provided for new and experienced providers
• Unrestricted State of Connecticut Medical License required (or eligible)
• Must be a certified or board-eligible Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner
• Minimum 1+ year of experience in an internal medicine/hospitalist setting required
