Advanced Practitioners - Hospitalist/Emergency
Job Details:
- Join the Emergency Department team at a nationally recognized Level I Trauma Center, practicing Emergency Medicine in a high-acuity academic setting alongside experienced attendings and residents
- Role is open to Physician Assistants (PA)
- Full-time, night shift schedule
- Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients presenting with a wide range of acute illnesses, injuries, and trauma conditions across all triage levels
- Perform procedures within scope, formulate treatment plans, and coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams
- Determine appropriate consultation or escalation of care when needed in a fast-paced, dynamic clinical environment
- Experience with suturing, splinting/casting, minor procedures, and acute care assessment preferred
- Opportunities for continued procedural and clinical skill development through mentorship and procedural training
- Unrestricted State of Connecticut Medical License required (or eligible)
- Minimum 1+ years of experience in an emergency medicine or related setting required
- Physician Assistant or Family Nurse Practitioner training required
