Opportunity:
Advanced Practitioners - Hospitalist/Emergency

Job Details:

  • Join the Emergency Department team at a high-acuity academic setting, practicing Emergency Medicine alongside experienced attendings and residents
  • Care for patients across all triage levels in a fast-paced, dynamic clinical environment
  • Open to Physician Assistants (PA) with full-time, rotating days and nights schedule
  • Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients presenting with a wide range of acute illnesses, injuries, and trauma conditions
  • Perform procedures within scope, formulate treatment plans, and coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams
  • Determine appropriate consultation or escalation of care when needed
  • Experience with suturing, splinting/casting, minor procedures, and acute care assessment preferred
  • Must hold an unrestricted State of Connecticut Medical License (or be eligible)
  • Minimum of 1+ years' experience in an emergency medicine or related setting required
  • Supported through strong collaboration, procedural training, mentorship, and professional development opportunities
  • Access to continued procedural and clinical skill development within one of the region's premier emergency departments
