🚨 APP Nocturnist Locum – Mount Vernon, IL

📍 Mount Vernon, IL
📅 Nov. 17, 2026–Nov. 17, 2027 | 1-Year Commitment
🌙 7 PM–7 AM | 7 On / 7 Off
🏥 Inpatient Hospital Medicine | Adults
💻 Epic
👥 Average 10 admissions/shift

Clinical Details:

* Adult hospitalist medicine
* General medicine, Tele/Stepdown & ICU admissions
* Common cases include sepsis, CHF & COPD
* Admit ICU patients overnight; Sound Telemedicine assumes ongoing ICU management after admission
* Admission/discharge documentation
* Rapid Response participation
* Coordinate care with subspecialists
* Strong onsite support including MD, APP/NP, RNs, RT, pharmacy, ED, intensivist & anesthesia

Requirements:

* NP/PA with Hospitalist/Nocturnist experience
* Active Illinois license required at submission – no licensing
* BLS & DEA
* 1+ year experience preferred
* Case logs required
* Credentialing: ~3 weeks; emergency credentialing may be possible within 1 week
