This inpatient facility is seeking locum tenens Physician Associate coverage to support its Hospitalist program while a full-time equivalent clinician is on leave. The facility operates within a structured hospitalist coverage model and maintains established clinical protocols and appropriate resources to support quality inpatient care delivery. Medical assistant and physician support are available on-site throughout the coverage period.

About the clinician's workday

The Physician Associate will provide inpatient hospitalist coverage during day shifts from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM, Monday through Thursday, on an on-site basis. Responsibilities include managing 12-15 admissions per shift across an all-ages patient population in accordance with established clinical protocols. Physician support is available on-site throughout the assignment. Prescriptive authority is required for this locum tenens position.
