Physician - Hospital Medicine

Job Details:

• Full-time Hospitalist position with a 7 on / 7 off block schedule for optimal work-life balance
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine required
• Must be licensed or eligible to be licensed in the State of Connecticut
• Daily census of approximately 45 patients shared between day and night providers
• Admissions volume of 5-10 patients per day
• Staffing model typically includes 2 providers per shift
• Closed ICU model with specialty and intensivist support
• Scope of practice focused on bread-and-butter Internal Medicine with strong subspecialty backup
• Emphasis on improving patient throughput and reducing ED wait times
• Focus on enhancing care coordination, continuity, and quality outcomes
• Collaborative environment with primary care and specialty teams
