Hematology/Oncology APP needed in Indianapolis, IN

License - Active IN license preferred
NP/PA: Open to Either
Length of Assignment: estimated 3-6 months with the potential to extend

Facility Type: Outpatient Cancer Center - Infusion center in office 17 chairs

Work Schedule/Shift Type: Days, M-F 8:00am – 5:00pm or 4 10’s

On Call/Call Backs: No call requirements

Oncology/Hematology/Both (solid/liquid): Both

Bone Marrow Transplants: No

Preferred Skills: Oncology/Hematology; Strong assessment and Documentation skills; Independent clinical decision making. Will need to learn physician preferences for care and treatment

Procedures: No procedures

Case Load: 15-20 patients/day

Patient Population: Adult

New Evals: New evals seen by MD, no new patients on schedule

Certifications Required: AOCNP not required but welcomed

Support Staff: Patient Support Specialists, Utilization Management, Financial Counselors, MA, Chemo nurses, pharm tech with back up remote pharmacist support, other APPs on site, triage nurse
