About the clinician's workday

A board-certified Medical Oncologist is required for locum tenens coverage spanning inpatient and clinic settings. The clinician will provide outpatient hematology/oncology coverage from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., seeing approximately 25 adult patients per day with a focus on benign hematology and malignant oncology. Weekend inpatient call is required approximately every 5th or 6th weekend, covering Friday at 4:30 p.m. through Monday at 8:00 a.m., with hospital rounding and an average census of approximately 20 patients. Board certification in Medical Oncology and prescriptive authority are required for this assignment.
