Opportunity:

Locum Tenens Nephrologist (MD/DO)

Kaiser Permanente is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Nephrologist to provide outpatient nephrology coverage at two metro Atlanta locations.

Schedule:

Monday & Tuesday: Panola Medical Center (Lithonia, GA)

Wednesday–Friday: Southwood Specialty Center (Jonesboro, GA)

Hours: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM

1-hour lunch daily

Standard 8-hour workday

Approximately 15 patient encounters per day

Practice Highlights:

Outpatient nephrology-focused practice

No dialysis rounding required

No dialysis management responsibilities

No renal biopsies

No catheter placements

No transplant management

Collaborative Kaiser Permanente practice environment

Requirements:

MD/DO

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Nephrology

Active Georgia medical license required

BLS certification

Fellowship trained

Estimated credentialing timeframe: 30 days

Assignment Details:

Start: ASAP

Assignment Length: Through October 2, 2026

Travel assignment
