Job Details:

  • Join a supportive and cohesive team providing outpatient general neurology care covering a broad range of conditions including Parkinson's, stroke, migraines, and seizure disorders
  • Role focuses primarily on follow-up visits in an outpatient practice-based setting
  • Stable Monday through Friday schedule with no call requirements
  • Responsibilities include managing patients, ordering and interpreting diagnostic results, and managing medications
  • Dictation of clinic notes, patient and family education, and attendance at multidisciplinary meetings required
  • Work alongside open and approachable attending physicians who are supportive of learning and growth
  • Eligibility to be licensed as a Physician Assistant (PA) or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) in Connecticut is required
  • Eligibility to be certified as a PA, Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), Adult Nurse Practitioner (ANP), or Adult Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner (AGPCNP) is required
  • Experience practicing as an Advanced Practice Provider is required; neurology experience is highly preferred
  • Support provided through an internal organization committed to the growth and development of Advanced Practitioners and a dedicated Office of Provider Wellness
