Neurohospitalist needed in Texas

Job description

Top Highlights:
- Flexible Block Coverage: Weekend blocks or 7-day coverage options available
- Manageable Census: Approximately 8–15 patients per day
- Strong Procedural Support: IR handles lumbar punctures
Opportunity Details:
- Start Date: ASAP
- Coverage through December 2026
- Inpatient Neurohospitalist coverage
- Weekend coverage available Saturday–Monday
- 7-day blocks with 24-hour coverage also available
- Approximately 8–15 patients per day
- Provider must be comfortable reading their own EEGs
- Lumbar punctures handled by the Interventional Radiology team
- Cerner EMR
- Credentialing timeframe: Approximately 60 days
Requirements:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible
- Active Texas medical license required
- BLS, ABLS, and ACLS required
- Ability to provide coverage ASAP through December 2026
- Existing privileges within the health system are a plus
