About the facility

This facility is a Level 3 Trauma center providing otolaryngology services across clinic and operating room settings. The institution maintains established clinical protocols and the infrastructure necessary to support full scope ENT care delivery, including trauma services. Nursing staff are in place to support quality patient care throughout the assignment.

The area is situated in the Ozark Mountains and offers access to outdoor recreation, including hiking, fishing, boating, and exploring Buffalo National River - America's first national river. A 7.5-mile trail runs near the historic downtown area, while Bull Shoals Lake, a 45,000-acre reservoir, provides opportunities for boating, water skiing, and swimming. The area also supports a range of sports tournaments and indoor activities throughout the year.

About the clinician's workday

The ENT physician will provide otolaryngology services across clinic and operating room settings, managing 20-25 patients per day over approximately 10 days per month. Coverage includes day shift clinic responsibilities and 24-hour call as required. Nursing staff are available on-site to support clinician workflow throughout the assignment. Board certification in Otolaryngology is negotiable for consideration.
