Otolaryngologist (ENT) Needed in IL (will license)

Location: Aurora, IL

Specialty: Otolaryngology (ENT) – MD/DO

Start Date: 11/18/2024

Contract Length: 13 weeks (with option to extend)

Shift Details: 5 x 8
Schedule: 2 Weeks per Month; Monday-Friday 9a-5p in clinic; expects it to be 30 hours in clinic and 10 hours in OR. Call schedule is 1:3 for weekends and 1-2 times per week night call.

Work Details:
• Support staff: MA, nursing, audiologists
• Amount of coverage needed per month: 5 x 8; Full-Time.
• Patients per day: 20-25
• Patient population/age: All ages
• Department description: Otolaryngology (ENT)
• EMR: EPIC
• Skills required: Bread and butter ENT; ear, larynx, nasal/sinus, throat, peds (ear tubes, tonsillectomy, etc.) procedures

Practice Setting:
• Hospital Based Clinic

Requirements:
• Board Certification: Board Certification in Otolaryngology or Board Eligible with 5 years of training required.
• State license required: No, but State of IL License highly preferred
• DEA: Yes
• CSR: Yes
• Certifications required: NA
• Minimum experience required: N/A; Will take new graduates but cannot consider those with a recent gap in work history as they require procedure logs for the last 24 months.

Credentialing Timeframe: 6 weeks
