Locums ENT Needed in Williamsport, PA with an Outstanding Facility - Willing to License

Job description

Start date: 1/6/2025. Start date will be around the beginning of January
24/7 on call as well as seeing patients in the office Monday through Friday and/or conducting surgeries at UPMC Williamsport same day surgery.

Schedule details: provider would see patients in the clinic between 8 a.m. And 5 p.m. Would provide general Ent care as well as see patients that require surgical intervention. These cases would be scheduled between Monday and Friday within the Ent block time.
On call response would be 24/7 while they are here and can include in person consult as well as e-consults.

Practice setting: free-standing clinic
EMR/charting software: epic care, Cerner core power chart, Surginet, Profee
Avg. Daily census: on call volume varies and you can go through a day without anything coming in but other days may have several calls.

Patient age group: 70% adult, 30% peds

Procedures: we need someone capable of doing at least general Ent cases but will need to oversee nosebleed patients, packing removals, trach care for patients as well as nasal fractures and abscesses that present to the office or hospital. General Ent- cerumen, tubes, tonsils, hearing loss, tinnitus, nosebleeds. Dysphagia, sinus infections and ear infections. We do also get patients presenting with thyroid nodules, trach care, nasal fractures, oral or vocal cord lesions, cancers, etc. We can do biopsies in the office, in office tubes for adults. Tongue ties for infants in office or OR for older kids.
