Job Summary

CES, Inc is seeking PM&R physicians who are licensed to practice in California to evaluate patients who are applying for benefits. The provider would ONLY be doing evaluations and not treating patients. There is no follow up, no prescribing, no on-call. We work around your schedule. This job is available for a clinic in Palm Springs operated by CES, Inc.

Responsibilities and Duties

PM&R Physicians will evaluate patients who are referred by CES, Inc. clients. The examinees will be interviewed by the internal medicine physician and a full body exam will be performed. The medical physician will then dictate findings onto a phone dictation system (or type their own reports) and provide an opinion as to what the examinee's ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, etc.

These examinations are NOT workers compensation related. The internal medicine physician does NOT decide whether a patient has a disability or not. The Physician does not decide or recommend whether or not the examinee qualifies or should get benefits. The internal medicine physician only provides an opinion of the examinee's ability to perform work-related activities and lastly this is an administrative decision that our clients will make with the help of your report.
